just you and me.In today’s shallow,
often fake world,
filled with obscure
and plain thoughts,people need something
to remind them of things
they normally ignore.Truth is scary —
and often painful to face —
but replacing it
with beautiful lies
isn’t the way to go.That’s why poetry
is needed now.To show things too painful
to be seen,
usually hidden
from the eyes.To reveal beauty
lost beneath appearances
and a carpet of lies.To show happiness
that doesn’t come
from numbers
rising on your account.We need to remind the world
that life isn’t only about
what we can see
with our eyes.We must open our minds
and temper our hearts
to the possibilities
buried deeply
beneath the surface
of our own minds.
Short stories
Collection of my short stories that may or may not evolve into something bigger, during some rainy days...
When night takes over.When the night takes humanity into its embrace and the world, for a few short hours, halts its endless rush into the unknown, dreams take control over mankind.
Some of them sprinkle our souls with visions of a beautiful future, or of a world shaped according to our deepest desires.
The rest, however, rise to confront us — filling our minds with visions so twisted and horrifying that they follow us even into the comforting light of day.But the night — let’s not forget — is also the time when many creatures begin their day.
Countless predators emerge from their dens to hunt their prey.
The darkness that comes so naturally to them perfectly hides every horror they commit within it.
And it’s not only animals that should beware what hides beneath the watchful eyes of the stars.
Humans, too, should fear what lurks in the shadows — or waits for them among dreams.[...]
